...Summary...
The National Weather Service in Wilmington Ohio has confirmed an
EF2 tornado in Mercer County OH and Auglaize County OH west of
New Knoxville.

Evidence of this tornado was first observed in a field east of
Harrison Road, where scour marks were noted, even though there was
nothing at this location to damage. As the tornado continued
east, it roughly paralleled Guadalupe Road and then Southland
Road, causing significant damage to trees and outbuildings. The
most significant damage occurred to two houses near Southland Road
and Tri Township Road, with both homes experiencing roof loss and
partial wall collapse, particularly of the second story. The
tornado is believed to have dissipated just west of State Route
66.

Highway Patrol Aviation Section, the Mercer County Emergency
Management Agency, and the Auglaize County Emergency Management
Agency for their assistance with this survey.

EF Scale: The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the
