...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL BREWSTER AND
SOUTHEASTERN PRESIDIO COUNTIES THROUGH 300 PM CDT...

At 212 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 30
miles northeast of Big Bend Ranch State Park, moving northeast at 35
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Elephant Mountain and Elephant Mountain Wildlife Management Area.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM CDT for
southwestern Texas.
