...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT EAST CENTRAL JONES...CENTRAL
CRAVEN AND WEST CENTRAL PAMLICO COUNTIES THROUGH 745 PM EDT...

At 658 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Askins, or 12 miles northwest of New Bern, moving south at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
New Bern, Trent Woods, River Bend, Askins, Jasper, Tuscarora, Rhems,
Olympia, Ernul, Coastal Carolina Regional Airport, Fairfield Harbour,
and Bridgeton.
