Minnesota River at Montevideo affecting Lac qui Parle, Chippewa and Yellow Medicine Counties. Minnesota River at Morton affecting Renville and Redwood Counties. .Rainfall from earlier this week has caused area rivers to rise. Reduced rain chances over the next several days should allow area rivers to level off and eventually lower. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS... Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood deaths occur in vehicles.
