711 FNUS56 KMTR 072132 FWFMTR Fire Weather Planning Forecast for the San Francisco Bay Area and Central California Coast National Weather Service San Francisco Bay Area 232 PM PDT Tue May 7 2024 .DISCUSSION...Offshore winds will develop through the day on Wednesday and Thursday, but fire danger will be mitigated by moist fuels across the region. Some higher elevations and exposed areas will see gusts of up to 40 to 50 mph. Temperatures will rise 5 to 15 degrees above seasonal averages, and interior regions will see minimum relative humidities between 20 and 30 percent, thus increasing the potential for curing of 1 and 10 hour fuels. Chance for wetting rains through the next 5 to 7 days remains below 5%. Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
