Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...High pressure to the W of the N
and central waters today and tonight will move farther S to the W
of the central and S waters through Fri, and then W of the S
waters Fri night and Sat. A coastal low pressure trough will be
along the the central California coast today, then across the
central and S areas tonight and Fri while becoming weaker. A cold
front will move SE into the N waters Fri, then the central waters
Sat, and the S waters Sat night into Sun then move S of the
waters later Sun. Another cold front will cross into the N waters
Sun night then move over the central and S waters Mon and Mon
night. High pressure will build in from the W and NW later Sun
through Mon night as a coastal trough develops along the central
and southern coast. Please be advised that the USCG remote
communications facility at Cambria is experiencing technical
difficulties. Technicians are aware of the problem. We apologize
for any inconvenience.
