At 442 AM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain mainly in northeast
Oklahoma and along and west of I49 in Arkansas. Thunderstorms with
locally heavy rain were located in Nowata, Craig and Ottawa counties
in Oklahoma. The precipitation was in the Tulsa area. Movement was
to the east at around 30 mph. The average amount where it rained
last hour was around one tenth of an inch with maximum amounts of an
inch to an inch and a half. Intensity decreased during the last
hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late tonight and early this
morning, cloudy then becoming partly sunny, a chance of showers and
thunderstorms with temperatures 67 to 71 degrees and southeast winds
5 to 15 mph.
