High pressure will settle into the Great Lakes region tonight into
the day on Thursday as an area of low pressure tracks across the
Tennessee Valley. Although this system may provide some cloud
cover for the local area, most precipitation will stay south of
the immediate area. An upper level disturbance will provide a
reinforcing shot of cool air for Saturday and Sunday, with perhaps
a few isolated light rain showers early Saturday as well. High
pressure will return to the region by Sunday into the first part
of next week as a pronounced warming trend develops by next
workweek. Above normal temperatures will build into the region,
especially towards the middle of next week.
