Fire Weather Forecast for southern Oregon and northern California
National Weather Service Medford, OR
929 AM PDT Wed Apr 25 2018

...ISOLATED TO SCATTERED THUNDERSTORMS WITH STRONG, GUSTY WINDS
POSSIBLE ON THURSDAY ESPECIALLY ALONG THE CASCADES AND EAST...

.DISCUSSION...
The thermal trough will shift inland today and tomorrow resulting
in a continuation of dry and well above normal conditions. Highs
will be 15 to 20 degrees above normal through Thursday across the
interior, and daily record highs could be broken both days. With
east winds having diminished, overnight recoveries have improved,
but daytime humidities will remain low. Much cooler and wetter
weather is expected late Thursday through the weekend, with
isolated to scattered thunderstorms near and east of the Cascades
and in northern California Thursday afternoon through Friday
evening. These thunderstorms could produce strong, erratic winds
and small hail, especially along and east of the Cascades. The
thunderstorm threat may linger east of the Cascades this weekend.
