This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for central North Carolina.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Widespread rain will overspread the region on Monday and continue
through Tuesday morning. Locally heavy rain can be expected with 1
to 2 inches storm totals likely. Up to 3 inches will be possible in
the western Piedmont. Some minor flooding can be expected, especially
in urban and low lying areas. Additionally, an area of low pressure
and attendant warm front lifting north into the area Tuesday
afternoon could support a few strong to severe storms across
southern and southeastern portion of the area.

Tuesday morning, before tapering off to showers Tuesday. Locally
heavy rain can be expected with 1 to 2 inches storm totals likely. Up
to 3 inches will be possible in the western Piedmont. Some minor
flooding can be expected, especially in urban and low lying areas.
