...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WESTERN AUTAUGA...EAST CENTRAL
PERRY AND NORTHEASTERN DALLAS COUNTIES THROUGH 1245 AM CDT...

At 1215 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Potter Station, or near Selma, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Selma, Valley Grande, Selmont-West Selmont, Mulberry, Gardner Island,
Memorial Stadium, Burnsville, Dallas County Horse Arena, Potter
Station, Summerfield, Valley Creek Junction, Edmund Pettus Bridge,
Selma University, Barrett Creek, and Dawson Mill.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM CDT for
central and south central Alabama.
