.DISCUSSION...Today and tonight...Snow showers will continue
this morning over the mountains, foothills and Park County then
begin to decrease this afternoon and evening. Scattered rain
showers are expected over the western half of the plains into
early evening before ending. Temperatures will remain below
seasonal normals today with no critical fire weather conditons
expected.
LONG TERM DISCUSSION...Saturday through Tuesday...
Warming/drying trend through Monday or Tuesday, but humidity
will remain elevated enough to prevent fire weather concerns
in combination with accelerated green up and recent precipitation.
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms can be expected
most afternoons, with greatest coverage found across the high
country. Saturday smoke dispersal may remain poor for many of the
higher elevations areas, including foothills, but dispersal
should improve considerably Sunday onward.
