This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Central Highlands Maine, Far
Eastern Maine, Far Northern Maine, North Woods Maine and Penobscot
Valley Maine.

.DAY ONE...This afternoon and tonight.

Hazardous weather is not expected at this time.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.

Rain will change to snow over Northern Maine later Wednesday. The
change to snow will occur around midday over the Saint John Valley,
mid afternoon over Central Aroostook, and early evening from Houlton
to Greenville. Snow accumulations are generally expected to be
2 inches or less in the north, with highest amounts over higher
terrain. Little or no snow accumulation is expected Downeast.

Temperatures will fall easily below freezing Wednesday evening...down
to the mid to upper 20s by about midnight, and to the low 20s by
dawn Thursday, and any wet roads could freeze. The chance of roads
freezing is the highest the further north you go.
