At 753 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 5 miles west of La Porte City to near Brooklyn. Movement was east at 45 mph. These storms have a history of producing 40 to 50 mph gusts across central Iowa. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated.
