...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN RABUN AND
NORTHEASTERN OCONEE COUNTIES THROUGH 200 PM EDT...

At 106 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 11
miles northwest of Walhalla, or 4 miles northwest of Oconee State
Park, moving east at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Salem, Devils Fork State Park, Oconee State Park, Lake Jocassee, Lake
Keowee, Mountain Rest, and Pine Mountain.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
