Subject: 2nd Notice of Relocation of the forecast site for the Wabash
River at Terre Haute

The forecast location for the Wabash River at Terre Haute will move
from the current site at the Indiana America Water Company to a new
site 3,400 feet downstream. The new location will be on the
Theodore Dreiser Memorial Bridge, eastbound lanes of U.S. Highway
150. This change will occur by April 3, 2018. Forecasts for the
Indiana America Water Company site will continue through at least
March 31, 2018.

At the new site, river readings and forecast levels will be 2.0-2.5
feet higher than at the current site. The NWS has adjusted impact
levels for Terre Haute according to the new gauge placement. The
flood stage has been adjusted from 14 feet to 16.5 feet.

The U.S. Geological Survey will conduct monitoring and analysis at
the new site to ensure it produces flow and stage information of the
current site to tie back to the long-term record. is the U.S. government's official web portal to all federal, state and local government web resources and services.
