Slight warming and drying trend continues through  the late work
week with temperatures in the mid to upper 70`s  inland and upper
50`s to lower 60`s along the coast. Gusty north to northwest winds
will continue through the end of the week with winds generally
between 15 to 25 mph. Areas along the coast and  coastal mountains
may see higher wind gusts between 30 to 35 mph. Cooler conditions,
slightly increased potential for light rain,  and better overnight
relative humidity recoveries are expected to  start this weekend as
a weak low pressure system moves inland.

Note : All winds are 20-foot Winds Unless otherwise specified.
Thunderstorms imply strong, gusty and erratic winds.

On Wednesday, the flow is expected to shift to the north to
northeast with gusty winds mainly focused across the mountains,
Santa Clarita Valley, and  the Central Coast and adjacent foothills.
These areas can expected wind gusts in the 25 to 45 mph range,

widespread across the interior by Wednesday, with humidities
lowering to between 8 and 20 percent. By late Wednesday night and
Thursday morning, weak offshore winds are expected across the region
(weaker than yesterday`s computer model projections), with the focus
