...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...

  Kaskaskia River at Carlyle.

River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast
precipitation for the next 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive
cars through flooded areas.

This product, along with additional weather and stream information,

The next statement will be issued Sunday morning at 815 AM CDT.

...FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE...

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Kaskaskia River at Carlyle.

* WHEN...Until further notice.

* IMPACTS...At 16.5 feet, Near this height, downstream agricultural
  fields begin flooding.
  At 17.8 feet, Near this height, the left bank below the dam near
  the tailwater gage begins flooding.  Minor flooding of park
  grounds begins.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 7:30 PM CDT Friday the stage was 17.2 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The river rose above flood stage early
    Thursday morning, April 11.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to remain steady above flood
    stage at 17.4 feet.
  - Flood stage is 16.5 feet.
