...COASTAL FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EDT
WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...One to two feet of inundation above ground level in low
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Anne Arundel County.

* WHEN...Until noon EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches the floor of the Maritime
  Museum in Annapolis, begins to cover Bowyer Road on the Naval
  Academy campus, and numerous businesses on Dock Street are
  flooded, along with the City Dock parking lot. Bayside Beach
  begins to flood around Harbor Rd and Lake Dr.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two and a half to three feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at
  7:02 PM and 7:27 AM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...One to two feet of inundation above ground level in low
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in St. Marys County.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint George
  Island, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To the
  east, inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off St.
  Mary`s River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Piney Point is at 4:16 PM and 4:21
  AM. The next high tide at Point Lookout is at 4:52 PM and 4:57
  AM.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property. If
travel is required, do not drive around barricades or through
water of unknown depth.

...COASTAL FLOOD WATCH NOW IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY MORNING
THROUGH WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, up to one foot of
  inundation above ground level in low lying areas due to tidal
  flooding. For the Coastal Flood Watch, one to two feet of
  inundation above ground level possible in low lying areas due
  to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.

* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 7 AM EDT
  Wednesday, especially around the time of high tide. For the
  Coastal Flood Watch, from Wednesday morning through Wednesday
  afternoon, especially around the time of high tide.

* IMPACTS...A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds
  and tides will combine to generate flooding of low areas along
  the shore. A Coastal Flood Watch means that conditions favorable
  for flooding are expected to develop. Coastal residents should
  be alert for later statements or warnings, and take action to
  protect property.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two and a half to three feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Washington Channel is at 10:10 PM
  and 10:15 AM.

* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, water reaches yards near Cobb Island
  and docks near Dahlgren.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Goose Bay is at 6:02 PM and 6:07
  AM. The next high tide at Dahlgren is at 4:41 PM and 4:57 AM.
  The next high tide at Indian Head is at 9:56 PM and 10:01 AM.

  isolated road closures expected.

WEDNESDAY...

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Calvert County.

* WHEN...Until 7 PM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.0 feet, water is expected to reach backyards
  near 9th Street in North Beach, and could approach 9th Street.
  At 3.5 feet, yards are flooded near Charles Street and
  Williams Street in Solomons. Nearby parking lots and the
  streets themselves are covered by more than a half foot of
  water.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Chesapeake Beach is at 5:47 PM and
  6:05 AM. The next high tide at Solomons Island is at 3:57 PM
  and 4:15 AM.

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in the City of Alexandria and Arlington
  County.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of the
  seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop Road and
  near the Tidal Basin. Water is expected to approach the curb
  near the intersection of King Street and Strand Street in
  Alexandria.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two and a half to three feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Alexandria is at 10:28 PM and
  10:33 AM.

* WHAT...Up to one foot of inundation above ground level in low
  lying areas due to tidal flooding.

* WHERE...Shoreline in Southern Baltimore County and the city of
  Baltimore.

* WHEN...Until 3 PM EDT Wednesday, especially around the time of
  high tide.

* IMPACTS...At 3.5 feet, flooding is occurring at the end of
  Thames Street in Baltimore. Water covers the promenade in the
  Inner Harbor in multiple locations. At 3.0 feet, water begins
  encroaching upon yards in the Bowleys Quarters area.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Fort McHenry Baltimore is at
  8:34 PM and 8:52 AM.

* IMPACTS...At 4.5 feet, portions of the Havre de Grace Yacht
  Basin are flooded, along with Hutchins Park.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides two to two and a half feet above
  normal. The next high tide at Havre de Grace is at 11:54 PM and
  12:02 PM.
