Surf Zone Forecast
National Weather Service Tallahassee FL
457 AM EDT Wed Apr 10 2024

.THE SURF ZONE FORECAST GENERAL OUTLOOK...

Southeast and south winds over the eastern Gulf will generally
increase through tonight, when southerly gales are expected. In
response, high rip current risk will worsen, with life-threatening
high surf from this afternoon through Thursday night. An improving
trend will start on Friday, but the churned-up Gulf will take until
Saturday night or Sunday to settle down enough to confidently ease
the rip current risk.
