...FLOOD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY EVENING TO THURSDAY
MORNING...
* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.
* WHERE...Suwannee River at Suwannee Springs.
* WHEN...From Wednesday evening to Thursday morning.
* IMPACTS...At 60.0 feet, Water comes over the bank at Suwannee
Springs Park and begins to flood low lying areas of the park in
Suwannee County. In Hamilton County, portions of SW 79th Terrace
begin to flood.
At 62.0 feet, In Suwannee County, the entrance to the Suwannee
Springs Park floods. Deese-Howard boat ramp is inaccessible.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 8:15 PM EDT Tuesday the stage was 59.6 feet.
- Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 60.0
feet tomorrow evening. It will then fall below flood stage
early Thursday morning.
- Flood stage is 60.0 feet.
