.DISCUSSION...
Scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected across the Mid-
South today and Monday, mainly during the afternoon and early
evening hours. A few storms may be strong and will be capable of
producing frequent lightning. Rain chances will increase Tuesday
as the remnants of Subtropical Storm Alberto move north across the
region. Wind speeds will remain light today and Monday but may
increase to 10-15 mph as Alberto passes on Tuesday.
