.DISCUSSION...
A few scattered showers or thunderstorms will be possible late
this afternoon and into this evening across much of the area.
However, rain chances should end by midnight as an upper level
disturbance lifts northeast of the region. Showers and
thunderstorms will remain in the forecast everyday through at
least Friday, mainly in the afternoon and into the night. Severe
thunderstorms will also be possible. In addition, unseasonably
warm temperatures are expected this week. Many locations south of
I-30 will be see daytime highs near or over 90 degrees F Tuesday
through Thursday. Humid conditions will also remain in place.
Afternoon minimum relative humidity values should be above 45
percent in most locations through at least Thursday when a cold
front will start to move through the area.
