.DISCUSSION...
An upper ridge aloft will be over the region today then slowly
shift to the east Friday. This brings warm and dry conditions
along with generally terrain driven winds to the burn area. An
upper low pushes into the West Coast Friday morning. This begins
to spread clouds into the region Friday afternoon, then a threat
of showers and thunderstorms late afternoon through the evening
hours as the front pushes across the unit through the evening
hours. At this time, rainfall amounts of 0.25 to 0.50 inches
possible Friday evening through Saturday. Low pressure lingers
over Idaho through the weekend bringing cooler and showery
conditions.
