...ELEVATED THREAT OF ERRATIC FIRE BEHAVIOR ACROSS ALL OF DEEP
SOUTH TEXAS FROM LATE-MORNING THROUGH LATE AFTERNOON...

WHILE RED FLAG WARNING CONDITIONS ARE NOT EXPECTED TO BE MET,
THERE IS AN ELEVATED THREAT OF ERRATIC FIRE BEHAVIOR BEGINNING
AROUND 10 AM CDT AND CONTINUING THROUGH 6 PM CDT. THERE IS ALSO A
THREAT FOR ENHANCED WILDFIRE GROWTH AND RAPID SPREAD POTENTIAL.

FINE FUELS ARE CURRENTLY RATED "DRY" TO "VERY DRY" ACROSS THE
REGION. RELATIVE HUMIDITY THIS AFTERNOON ARE EXPECTED TO RANGE
FROM 25-30% IN ZAPATA COUNTY TO 45-50% NEAR THE COAST. 20-FOOT
WINDS FROM THE SOUTH-SOUTHEAST WILL BE AROUND 15 MPH OVER WESTERN
ZONES TO 25MPH ALONG THE COAST. EXTREME CAUTION IS URGED IF
BURNING MUST BE CONDUCTED TODAY.

SLOWLY DIMINISHING WINDS AND RISING RELATIVE HUMIDITY VALUES
WILL MITIGATE THE THREAT BY AROUND SUNSET THIS EVENING.
