A mix of sun and clouds and was in place across eastern Iowa,
northwest Illinois, and northeast Missouri Tuesday evening as a
weak upper level disturbance and cold front tracked over
the mid Mississippi River Valley. Temperatures were above normal
for late April, as highs ranged from 72 in Freeport, to 77 in
Cedar Rapids and the Quad Cities.

Quiet conditions will prevail through Wednesday as the cold front
passes across the region. Expect partly to mostly cloudy skies
tonight to give way to sunny skies on Wednesday. Overnight low
temperatures will range from near 40 over Freeport and Dubuque,
to the upper 40s over Keokuk and Memphis. High temperatures for
Wednesday will climb into the lower 60s.
