WEATHER BULLETIN ISSUED FROM NWFC NADI MAY 270216 UTC.
A DAMAGING HEAVY SWELL WARNING REMAINS IN FORCE FOR TUVALU WATERS AND
COASTS.

SITUATION:
A WEAK TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE REMAINS SLOW MOVING OVER TUVALU.
ASSOCIATED CLOUD AND SHOWERS AFFECTS THE GROUP. MEANWHILE, A  HIGH
PRESSURE SYSTEM TOGETHER WITH A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM TO THE FAR SOUTH
OF TUVALU GENERATES AND DIRECTS MODERATE TO HEAVY SOUTHERLY SWELLS
TOWARDS THE GROUP.

FORECAST TO MIDNIGHT TOMORROW FOR TUVALU:
OVER OPEN WATERS: HEAVY SOUTHERLY SWELLS WITH WAVE HEIGHTS UPTO 3
METRES. MODERATE NORTHEASTERLY WINDS.
MODERATE SEAS.
OVER COASTAL AREAS: EXPECT SEA FLOODING DURING HIGH TIDES. CLOUDY
PERIODS WITH SOME SHOWERS AND FEW THUNDERSTORMS.
