...A strong thunderstorm will impact portions of western Buchanan
County through 415 PM CDT...

At 341 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Jesup, or 7 miles west of Independence, moving northeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow
         around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects
         is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Independence, Jesup, Winthrop, Hazleton, Buchanan County Fairgrounds,
Otterville, Wapsipinicon Golf Course, Independence Airport, Fontana
County Park, Fontana Park, and Littleton.

This includes Interstate 380 between mile markers 53 and 55.
