...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN MONTGOMERY...
SOUTHWESTERN SAN JACINTO AND SOUTHEASTERN WALKER COUNTIES THROUGH 545
AM CDT...

At 512 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles northeast of Montgomery, or 8 miles northwest of Willis, moving
east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Northern Conroe, southeastern Huntsville, Willis, Panorama Village,
New Waverly, Point Blank, Montgomery, Huntsville State Park, and
Evergreen.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
