...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL JACKSON AND FRANKLIN
COUNTIES THROUGH 700 PM CDT...

At 610 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Scottsboro, moving northeast at 15 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsboro, Winchester, Decherd, Estill Springs, Stevenson, Cowan,
Hollywood, Huntland, Skyline, and Pisgah.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
