Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Western
and North Central for Nebraska
National Weather Service North Platte NE
243 PM CDT Mon Mar 25 2024

.DISCUSSION...
There are no obvious fire weather concerns during the next 7
days. Showers Saturday and Sunday may lead to rainfall amounts
around 1/2 inch across parts of northern Nebraska.

The only potential day of concern is Thursday across western
Nebraska where humidity is expected to fall to between 15 and 25
percent but winds will be light. Recent rain and snow suggest the
fuel status is questionable. Otherwise, moist air will remain
across western and north central Nebraska causing afternoon
humidity to remain above 30 percent in most areas.
