Scattered showers and thunderstorms moved across southwest
Nebraska overnight as showers moved across north central Nebraska.
The showers across north central Nebraska produced light snow as
well as a glaze of ice on roadways. Low temperatures fell into
the lower 30s across southwest Nebraska to the mid and upper 20s
across north central Nebraska.

Today, a strong storm system will begin to move into the area,
with rain and a few thunderstorms expected across southwest and
central Nebraska during the afternoon, while light snow develops
across the northwest Sandhills. Highs will range in the mid 30s
north central to the mid 40s to near 50 across the south.
