.SYNOPSIS...High pressure centered between Bermuda and the
Bahamas will sustain moderate to fresh easterly trade winds
through tonight. The ridge is forecast to weaken over the next
couple of days, resulting in gentle to moderate winds through the
remainder of the forecast period. Northerly swell will generate
rough seas in the Atlantic waters and passages through this
afternoon. Seas will diminish to mainly moderate tonight and
continue into the weekend. Looking ahead, a surface trough may
develop just N of Hispaniola over the next 48 hours and move east
toward the waters just north of Puerto Rico by the end of the
work week.
