West central North Atlantic continental shelf and slope waters
beyond 20 nm to 250 nm offshore, including south of Georges Bank
from 1000 fm to 250 nm offshore.

Conditions given represent the highest within that period.

Seas given as significant wave height, which is the average
height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

Locally higher winds and seas can be expected in and near tstms.

.SYNOPSIS FOR MID ATLC WATERS...High pressure over the waters
early today will slowly shift E of the region later today through
Wed night before weakening Thu. A cold front will move S into the
N waters by this afternoon, drift S over the N waters tonight,
stall from the Delmarva coast east and southeastward by early
Wed, and then lift back N as a warm front later Wed into Thu
night. Another high will build just N and NE of the area Wed, and
then shift NE of the area by Wed night. A strong cold front will
approach the coast Thu, then move E across the waters Thu night
into Fri night. A secondary cold front will move offshore later
Fri night into Sat night. High pressure will build E and NE into
the S waters later Sat night, with a ridge extending N along the
coast.
