Areas of patchy fog will gradually clear by the late morning with
partly to mostly cloudy skies expected through the afternoon.
An upper level disturbance will then kick off active weather for the
week, promoting shower and thunderstorm chances later today. The
very warm, humid and unsettled weather pattern will continue to
yield daily chances for showers and thunderstorms. With the frequent
storms comes the threat of localized flash flooding. Some of these
storms may also become strong to severe, especially around midweek.
