.DISCUSSION...
Well we squeezed in another great day of drying with only a few
showers or isolated thunderstorms north of I-30 and some down by
Sam Rayburn Dam earlier this afternoon. Otherwise, still stormy in
SE OK, but lots sunshine everywhere else and very warm temps for
this time of year. We can just go ahead and get used to that as
after a wet period tonight that will linger through the weekend,
the building heat will take center stage next week with lower
90s widespread, with maybe some records. The coming upper
disturbance is moving over far W TX now and will spread numerous
thunderstorms in over E TX overnight and early tomorrow crossing
I-49 for the Parishes through lunchtime. Slow moving activity
will have the potential to bring another 2 to 4 inches along and
south of I-20 to throw back Thursday into a soaker.
