...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 915 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Coke, Concho, Runnels and Tom Green.

* WHEN...Until 915 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 606 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin
    shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 2 inches of
    rain have fallen according to radar estimates.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Angelo, Paint Rock, Maverick, Miles, Lowake, Veribest,
    Mereta, Rowena, Orient, Tennyson, Eola, Goodfellow Air Force
    Base, Norton, O.C. Fisher Reservoir, Grape Creek, Harriet,
    The Intersection Of Ranch Road 380 And Ranch Road 381,
    Ballinger Lake, Us-83 Near The Concho-Runnels County Line and
    The Intersection Of Us-83 And Ranch Road 1929.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    Howard and Webster, College Hills and Millbrook, Jackson From
    Knickerbocker to South Bryant, Southwest Blvd and Loop 306,
    FM 2334 crossing Ninemile Creek, FM 1929 crossing Fuzzy
    Creek, Huntington and Sunset, FM 1692 crossing Concho River,
    FM 1692 crossing Sales Branch and FM 1692 crossing The Draw.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
