...HIGH DISPERSIONS EXPECTED AT THE SITE ON FRIDAY...

.DISCUSSION...
Another dry day is expected at the burn site this morning and
afternoon. Conditions will be warmer at the site which will allow
greater mixing heights than observed on Wednesday. Additionally,
atmospheric stability will be a little lower this afternoon which
could allow dispersions to be a few points higher than currently
forecast this afternoon. Transport winds will be light and around
5 mph out of the north and northwest in the morning, but with
afternoon heating and the passage of the seabreeze around 3 or 4
pm EDT, expect an increase in transport winds and a switch to a
more west and southwest component through the evening. Seabreeze
dies down this evening and overnight which allows transport winds
to decrease and become out of the west overnight. At the surface,
light northwest winds are expected but will quickly switch to be
southwest and south around 3 or 4 pm and increase in speed as the
seabreeze pushes through. Like Wednesday, a quick wind gust of 10
to 15 mph is possible along the immediate wind shift of the
seabreeze front before gusts diminish behind the seabreeze for the
afternoon and evening. Patchy fog is possible overnight at the
burn site. For Friday, winds become southeasterly and pick up in
speed with winds increasing to around 10 mph with frequent gusts
to 15 mph expected on Friday. High dispersions are anticipated on
Friday at the site.
