At 928 PM, National Weather Service radar detected a large area of
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain primarily in Pawnee,
Osage and Washington counties in Oklahoma. Movement was to the
northeast at around 40 mph. The average amount where it rained last
hour was around one half of an inch with maximum amounts of an inch
to an inch and a half. Coverage, and intensity increased during the
last hour. The Tulsa area forecast for late this evening and into
overnight, mostly cloudy, occasional showers and thunderstorms. Some
thunderstorms may be severe .
