.DISCUSSION...Showers and thunderstorms are expected across
the entire area through Tuesday afternoon. Some of the storms will
have heavy rainfall. Strong north to northwest winds will develop
overnight and Tuesday morning, with gusts of 40 to 55 mph
possible. The west central South Dakota plains could see some
gusts to 60 mph during the midday and afternoon hours on Tuesday.
For the rest of the week, colder temperatures, gusty winds and
chances for showers will continue.
