Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Central/Northern Vermont and
Northern New York
National Weather Service Burlington VT

...Drying conditions expected for fine fuels...

.DISCUSSION...
Quiet weather continues today and Tuesday as high pressure
prevail over the region. Temperatures will warm into the low to
mid 60s relative humidities as low as 14-18% today under clear
skies. Humidities will recover overnight but again Tuesday will
see relative humidities in the 25-31% range. This will continue to
promote drying out of the 1 and 10 hour fuels in areas with no
snow cover. However by the time fuels dry out rain should move
back into the North Country late Tuesday night into Wednesday.
