FIRE WEATHER PLANNING FORECAST FOR UPPER MICHIGAN
National Weather Service Marquette MI
544 AM EDT Sat May 26 2018

...Humid with scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms at
times today then dry and warm Sunday...

.DISCUSSION: A warm and humid air mass will remain over the
area today. Interior minimum relative will drop into
the 35 to 45 percent range as temperatures approach 90. Several
disturbances passing across the area will generate scattered
showers and thunderstorms today. While locally heavy rainfall will
be possible with some storms, a widespread, soaking rainfall for
all of Upper Michigan appears unlikely. Some storms will produce
frequent cloud-to- ground lightning. A few showers may linger into
Sunday over the east with dry conditions the rest of the day.
Shower and Thunderstorms chances will return Sunday night into
Monday.
