.DAY ONE...Today

Dry conditions along with a slight warming trend can be expected.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

A storm system with significant moisture is forecast to impact the

rain, particularly across the Santa Lucia Mountains above the Big
Sur Coast. This system will also produce strong and gusty winds
at times.

The following hazards are possible between Tuesday and Thursday:

 * Localized urban flooding, mainly in low lying areas or poorly
   drained areas.
 * Small stream flooding, mainly streams that flow out of the
Santa Lucia Mountains along the Big Sur Coast.
 * Gusty winds may result in power outages due to downed trees and
powerlines. Strongest winds are expected Tuesday night and
again Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
 * Mudslides or debris flows could occur if soils become saturated.
This is most likely along the Big Sur Coast.
