Survey Summary:
A tornado touched down along LA Highway 44 in between White Hall
and Romeville where it snapped trees and damaged the roofs of a few
mobile homes. It continued east-southeast where it paralleled the
west side of the east bank of the Mississippi River.  It crossed
over the east side of the Mississippi River levee just west of
Romeville where it snapped a few power poles.  As the tornado
crossed through Romeville, it snapped several trees, damaged the
roofs of a few homes, and snapped more power poles as it reached
its maximum intensity. The tornado continued to the east-southeast
where it snapped more power poles along LA Highways 3214 and 3125.
The tornado finally lifted just east of Highway 3125 just south of
the LA Highway 3214 and LA Highway 3125 intersection.
