Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky

.DISCUSSION...A slow moving low pressure system will gradually move
from Western TN to the Appalachians through Tuesday evening
before moving east of the area on Wednesday. This system will
bring chances for showers from time to time through midweek. The
highest chances for showers will be from today into Tuesday
evening. As the system approaches, winds will be gusty at times
through this evening. Also, a few thunderstorms are possible this
afternoon, mainly near the TN border. Thunderstorms will be
possible in all areas on Tuesday. Rainfall through midweek should
rain from a half of an inch to an inch and a quarter.
