Fire Weather Planning Forecast for Eastern Kentucky
National Weather Service Jackson KY
444 AM EDT Wed Apr 18 2018

.DISCUSSION...A warm front will lift north through eastern
Kentucky this morning, promoting a warmup into the 70s this
afternoon. While RH values should remain well into the 30s or
higher (lowest values in far eastern Kentucky), southwest winds
will increase to 10-20 mph with gusts of 30-35 mph this afternoon.
Breezy/gusty conditions will continue through this evening and
possibly into early tonight as winds veer more west to
northwesterly. Rain chances will increase this evening as amounts
largely remain below 1/10 of an inch. Much cooler conditions will
ensue for Thursday as northwest winds gradually diminish through
the day.
