This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

Showers and thunderstorms will overspread the region this evening
and continue overnight. Some storms may become severe with large
hail and damaging winds, primarily south of Interstate 80.

Prolonged heavy rain is likely for all of western and north
central Nebraska with 1 to 3 inches by Saturday evening. A Flood
Watch remains in effect for portions of southwest Nebraska and the
southern panhandle.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SATURDAY THROUGH THURSDAY.

Thunderstorms with very heavy rain will continue into Saturday.

A Flood Warning is in effect for the North Platte River upstream
of Lake McConaughy and near North Platte, where the river is
expected to reach minor flood stage this weekend.

Thunderstorm chances exist each evening from Monday through
Thursday, with the best chance Tuesday night into Wednesday.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation may be needed this evening for areas south of
Interstate 80.
