This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

Severe storms are possible Thursday night across western Nebraska
and the eastern Panhandle. The severe threat will be highest west
of a line from Ogallala to Merriman. Large hail, damaging winds,
frequent lightning, and heavy rainfall will be possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...FRIDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY.

Severe weather is possible again Friday evening with the greatest
threat south of a line from Alliance to Burwell. Large hail,
damaging winds, frequent lightning, and locally heavy rainfall is
possible again.

Heavy rain will continue into Saturday with rainfall totals of 1
to 3 inches possible through Saturday night. Locally heavier
amounts are possible.

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
