This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

As a cold front passes through the area, winds will switch to
northwesterly and strengthen late this afternoon and evening.
Wind gusts to 50 mph are possible across the southern panhandle
and southwest Nebraska, which could make travel difficult for
lightweight and high profile vehicles.

Rain will mix with and switch over to snow late tonight across
the Sandhills and northern Nebraska. Slick spots on roads and
brief drops in visibility are possible.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

Light snow will continue Wednesday morning for portions of north
central Nebraska. Light accumulations around one inch are
possible, primarily north of Highway 20.

Another system will bring precipitation to the region Friday into
Saturday. A wintry mix and light snow are possible each morning,
but any snow accumulation appears unlikely at this time.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation will not be needed through tonight.
