This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of western and
north central Nebraska.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

Rain showers will continue through late evening for much of the
area, although the heavy rain threat is limited. The Flood Watch
continues for portions of southwest Nebraska and the southern
panhandle until 7 PM CDT.

The Flood Warning remains in effect for the North Platte River
upstream of Lake McConaughy and near North Platte.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.

The North Platte River is expected to reach minor flood stage
Sunday afternoon near Lewellen and North Platte, crest on Monday,
and fall below flood stage on Tuesday.

Thunderstorm chances return to the area Monday afternoon and
evening. A strong or severe storm cannot be ruled out. Stay tuned
to later forecasts for more details.

Additional thunderstorms are possible Wednesday and Thursday
evenings. The threat for severe weather is low at this time.
